one-on-one Counseling

$120/hour — Sit down face to face to discuss your health goals and food habits. Sessions are individualized to meet you where you are at. Work together with Rachel to create sustainable food habits that help you feel better over time. Note: all appointments will be ~55 minutes.

My Process

Step 1: Phone Consultation

Our first step is to talk on the phone for about 15 minutes. This gives us both the opportunity to figure out if working together would be a good fit. I’ll ask you general questions about your health and eating goals. We will match up our schedules and get your first appointment on the calendar.

Step 2: INitial Nutrition Counsult

At your first appointment we will do a deep dive into your health, food and nutrition history. We will talk about any nutrition related medical issues you have, your food intolerances, food likes and dislikes, and other lifestyle factors. It’s my job to figure out what your primary health and food goals are. This appointment serves as a starting point for your food and nutrition journey. The goals we establish at this appointment may evolve over time. I like to use Intuitive Eating concepts to help you eat foods you enjoy. I will not put you on a diet (unless you have a medical condition that requires it). I am not the food police, rather a guide for eating healthfully in life.

Step 3: Follow-Up Appointments

Once we’ve laid the groundwork at the initial appointment, we will meet regularly to keep you on track with your health goals. The frequency of meetings depends on the individual, although meeting as regularly as once a week can be extremely beneficial at the beginning. Health and wellness is a lifelong journey and having regular check-ins with me can help to keep you motivated.
